As I understand it, Photoshop with many, many layers - I do basic shoving this item behind that thing when I do graphics, but NOTHING on this scale.

I know it's all science, but still has that bit of magic. As a kid my friends and I would go down up to Pittsburgh to watch them land and take off - we were easy to entertain back then.
