The Choco Taco is gone for good.

I've never even heard of these things.

The "sensitive content" is an illustration of an ice cream taco. No, I don't know what is so sensitive about that.

The beloved Klondike product, packaged ice cream in a taco-shaped cone, has been discontinued.

That some company bought the choco taco product line and will take over their manufacture.

So there might be some interruption of supply but there will still be choco tacos!

I've never had one, I like Klondike bars, guess I'll have to check them out.

But don't lose hope.

What they really said was that one of the Klondike founders has offered to buy the Choco Taco brand and continue manufacture. Just not a done deal yet, at least you know there is someone on the inside who is one your side!

in my area that sold them, in a little freezer case by the cash registers, only for a Choco Taco.

Never saw them in stores here in BC, but they were a delicious treat when I lived in California.

The only issue is having to get the waffle cone press. You can make much better chocolate coating (hint: it’s just a coconut oil based chocolate sauce) than they did. You make a dozen cone blanks, bend, fill with ice cream (better stuff than they used is just fine), squish down, roll in nestle crunch bites or just chocolate Rice Krispies, freeze, then dip in magic shell and freeze again.

Alexis Ohanian, the Reddit cofounder also known as Serena Williams’ husband, tweeted to parent company Unilever that he’d “like to buy the rights to your Choco Taco and keep it from melting away from future generations’ childhoods.”

Please don’t be joking, AO!

10. They're comparable to a Drumstick

The main difference is the waffle cone on Choco Taco is not as dense as a Drumstick cone

That shape made for a whole different ice cream-eating experience. “When you eat a sugar cone, you generally eat the nuts, chocolate, and ice cream on the top, and then when you get to the cone, you’re [only] eating ice cream and cone,” Drazen says. “With the Choco Taco you’re getting the ice cream, cone, nuts, and chocolate with just about every bite.”

However, if I find myself starving at a convenience store, I usually go for the King Size Drumstick. Choco Taco is kinda like the Strawberry Shortcake Bars. Yummy, but not enough bang for the buck...
