I used to buy tickets regularly but now I never do. Did you read about the group in New York who bought 25K tickets? I wonder how much they won? I'd be surprised if they win their $25K back.

I buy tickets every time. EVERY time. Not once. Not even one time, did I win a billion dollars.

It’s rigged I tell ya.

I'm thinking about a 'sternly worded letter' - generated by a guy I know that almost went to law school ...

I buy a two dollar ticket.

I am buying three days of fantasy...a fantasy that I know will come true for someone...Why not me?

I get to dream of a comfortable life for my extended family.

I get to dream of funding worthy charities (perhaps NOT the ones that spend half of their revenues on two minute advertorials on cable channels).

I get to dream of hiring someone to mow my lawn and weed my garden.

I sing a song from one of Portland's great seventies bar bands, SEAFOOD MAMA:

I wanna be rich before thirty
With time to kill
I want to see my friends and relatives
Fightin' over my will.
I wanna be rich before thirty
With time to kill.
I wanna spend my money
Callin' everyone HONEY
and drivin' my Coupe de Ville.
