Need some reassurance regarding a pregnancy issue.

The daughter of a close friend of mine is in the seventh month of her pregnancy. It was double magic because my daughter is also due in the same month. Both are carrying very active girls.

Well, my friend just told me that her daughter lost her mucous plug. She had a day of anxiety, but the hospital sent her daughter home with no special instructions. Apparently, these things sometimes happen without any affect to the baby.

Does anyone have experience that they care to share about this? Any advice I can pass on to the family?

5 weeks before her due date. Her water broke a week later and she had a healthy 5-lb boy. Had a section because the little one was breech.
I’m surprised the doctor didn’t recommend resting or limiting activities.

It's a normal part of pregnancy and can easily be explained by her health care professional.

Maybe your advice should be to ask her doctor.
