(60,791 posts)entertaining comments I've ever seen on YouTube. I'll copy some of them here later, but there are way too many really great ones, especially funny ones, to begin to copy them all.

It always amazes me how well rock meshes with traditional Celtic music

Amazing! The comments made me laugh like I haven't laughed in a long time. My soul is happy, and my dogs are riled and seem to believe they are ferocious 3 headed beasts. This music is truly magical on a whole new level.

This song is so uplifting, it should be the national anthem of the world once we have overcome the Coronavirus

(60,791 posts)We seem to have a lot of epic-fantasy fans here, and this is epic-fantasy music if I've ever heard any.
And the YouTube comments -- which I'm still far from finished reading -- are nearly as enjoyable.

Not the right music to listen to if you need a lullaby, though. I was awake so late after discovering this Sunday night...
I noticed that quite a few of the people commenting on YouTube attributed their reaction to the music to their Celtic or in some cases Viking/Nordic ancestry. I'm Welsh on my dad's side, German-tracing-back-to-Danish on my mom's, so it's possible there were some Celtic warriors and Vikings in the mix, long ago. But I also noticed a lot of people from other parts of the world who really felt this music -- felt it on a very deep level, didn't just appreciate it as connoisseurs of good music. And of course it should appeal to anyone who loves epic fantasy...
