We had this conversation one very slow night at work. It was quite enlightening.

Then I thought Sense of Smell, since losing it would benefit the task of cleaning litter boxes. However, I'd surely miss the fragrance of my rose garden.
So, I settled on Sense of Taste, as I could surely stand to lose weight, which may be an outcome of not tasting food any longer.

(21,020 posts)to lose sight and not be able to read. Braille and audio books would not cut it.
Ditto sense of hearing. To never hear music again...devastating.
I love scents and perfume so would want sense of smell.
Taste...meh. I probably wouldn't care much about losing that.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
