i will go easy on the flight attendants....but this siting on the tarmac crap gets old

... for so long that we probably could have DRIVEN the plane to Boston and gotten there faster. That's the second most disfunctional airport I've ever encountered (National, a.k.a. Reagan is the first). I'd put O'Hare in third place because it can take 45 minutes to walk from one terminal to another and because of that they schedule the flights to accommodate that so you always end up waiting once you get there - and there aren't enough bars near the terminals to pass the time in. Dallas-Ft. Worth is probably the best major airport with respect to ease of use. It's two half circles. You get off the plane, walk out the door, and cross the street to enter the rental car area. As for small airports, I've only used three - Manchester, NH, Owensboro, KY, and Evansville, IN. I liked all three of those.

As of right now, I'm sleeping at the airport...next out doesn't leave until another 5 hrs..

That's a crappy way to spend Christmas.

That's terrible. So sorry this has happened to you. I don't fly. Don't want to deal with the hassle.
