Do You Ever Think About How Much Brain Power It Takes to Play Wordle?????

I enjoy the Wordle on my phone. BUT. It takes a whoooooooooole lotta mental energy just to make it in 6 tries. Three is a miracle. And afterwards I feel such a mix of emotions.

- Relieved that I got it. Even if it took 6 tries.

- Stressed that I almost didn't get it.

- Proud because I have a decent vocabulary. Heck, I have an AMAZING vocabulary. You can't play this game without an extensive vocabulary.

- But then annoyed that they come up with such tough words. Earlier today, I had "lupus". And scalp.

I think 8 rounds is my limit, and then I'm mentally drained. It's like the mental version of an exercise bike.

3. I only play once a day. Some days it's easy sometimes days hard and some I don't get at all.

4. I play one a day. First thing in the morning

3 is by far the most I get it in. But I have anywhere completed them from one to six attempts. One time I literally got it on one. It was a weird situation that it happened to be one of my starter words. I think at least twice I didn’t get it at all and twice I checked on DU before number 6….frustrated and happily cheated.

9. Wordle is a gazillion times more challenging than the NYT mini crossword

I do three NYT's puzzles every day - Mini Crossword, Wordle and Spelling Bee. I only got Wordle in two tries once. Spelling Bee can be super easy one day and the next day super hard.

10. I also like the wordhurdle games on solitaired .com which are different each day

It offers 4, 5, and 6 letter games plus phrazle (like wheel of fortune) all together on one easy site.

So on days that I have free time I do Wordle on NY Times plus the 3 on solitaired plus Phrazle. I thought I wouldn't be good at any of them especially Phrazle but surprisingly I almost always figure them out but some days I lack patience and they tire my brain and I give up.

Much harder but I can usually get all 4 words - and on occasion do it in 7 tries
