I'm posting this not just to celebrate older musicians and singers who are rocking on, but to encourage the older musicians and singers here at DU.
As a boomer, a lot of my favorite artists fall into this 60+ category. And YouTube, with lots of fan videos of more recent concerts, shows how great these artists still sound, at least a few decades after they started. Most of the time you can find both new and old performances of concert favorites.
I'd love to see videos of your favorite older artists, then and now.
As I said, there are a lot I could post, but I'll post just one band in this OP.
Two performances of "Candy's Going Bad," a song fron Golden Earring's classic 1973 album Moontan. The earliest performance video I saw was really poor quality video of a Don Kirshner show in 1973, so I'm posting a 1982 performance from Rockpalast, a German TV show (which got the song title wrong for the broadcast), along with fan video of a performance at the Ipswich Regent Theatre in March 2009, when bass player Rinus Gerritsen was 62, lead guitarist George Kooymans was 61, and lead singer Barry Hay and drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk were 60.

That OP is at https://democraticunderground.com/10181696713 - and since you didn't post any videos for them, I'll copy those videos here.
"Glory Days" - hope that's one of your favorites - the official video, and live in London in 2013:

(60,791 posts)"Hier Kommt Alex" ("Here Comes Alex," from a concept album based on A Clockwork Orange) was their first big hit, in 1988, and I think this video was made the same year:
And last night in Berlin, as they resumed their 40th anniversary tour after taking a break for a few weeks (the tour started in May, will end next month). During the tour lead singer Campino (Andreas Frege) and bass player Andi (Andreas Meurer) both turned 60. The other three band members are only a couple of years younger.

I just love that video of John Fogerty and his family on his 75th birthday! Again, thanks for posting that!

It isn't as dangerous and debilitating as the ALS George Kooymans is battling -- https://democraticunderground.com/10181674319 -- but Huey's admitted how severely depressed he was the first months after the diagnosis. Kudos to him for the way he's been handling this.

(34,282 posts)I am a drummer and trumpet player and dont play much anymore, real bad ear problems.
For about 5 years in the early to Mid 70's I saw many shows at Winterland and Day on the Green shows, Oakland.
Like Queen, and I will never forget standing on the sidewalk waiting to get in and hearing the sound check, I looked at my friends and said "Oh my god."
We were right up by the stage, same for Paul and Wings Cow Palace, we got there and the line went blocks down the road and I turned to my friends and said " I did not wait all these years to see a Beatle to stand in back," and I grabbed them and we went right to the front of the line.
Was I there for the legendary Zeppelin show at Oakland Coliseum when they fought? Yes.
Was i there for "The Who Dead" show, I am in this picture

To our right of the guy with the camera, with glasses.
As to playing today, I wish Freddie was.
(40 yrs later saw Ringo and All Star Band)
highplainsdem
(60,791 posts)I wish Freddie were still here, too. I imagine his voice would still be amazing.
Re that photo and where you are in it... There's more than one camera in that crowd. But the first one I noticed was the one held by a guy a few rows back, with a bearded guy wearing mirrored sunglasses to his right.
I'm sorry that you have hearing problems now and don't play drums or trumpet any more.

(34,282 posts)The camera guy I mean is to the left of the end or headstock of the guitar.

So I'm going to post videos from 1975 at Winterland, and 2015 in Amsterdam, from the same band I posted videos from in the OP, Golden Earring. Both great performances of "Vanilla Queen," one of the best tracks on Moontan. The Winterland video is especially watchable, at more than 11 minutes, with a wonderful guitar solo and outro.
Btw, the saxophonist in the cap in that 2015 video is Bertus Borgers, who also toured with them in the 1970s and was there at Winterland. The 1976 Dutch news story on Golden Earring below shows Borgers with them then, as well as a keyboardist, Robert Jan Stips (previously with Supersister), who was with them on some tours and for some albums. That's Stips at 1:10. I read an interview somewhere that had front man Barry Hay complaining that Stips, who'd worn huge glasses while in Supersister, had replaced the glasses with contact lenses since joining Golden Earring and was now the "most beautiful" guy in the band. But it's obvious from the closeups of George, Cesar and Rinus right after Stips that if Barry was feeling competitive that way, not wanting anyone in the band who was at least as good looking as he was, he was in the wrong band.

(60,791 posts)is ALMOST 60...well, he'll be 57 in December.

(71,868 posts)He started out in the early 1970's as a kind of troubadour, a singing storyteller with a Renaissance Fair vibe.
In the 80's, he moved into a more straightforward rock sound, with the occasional message of social protest (in this case, against the violence of The Troubles in Northern Ireland.) BTW, the whispered female vocal in this song is Tina Turner.
Nowadays, he sings mostly Dad-rock, along with his more well-known romantic hits like "The Lady In Red" and "Diamond in The Dark". Here's it is literally Dad-rock, as he sings to his daughter, former Miss Ireland and Miss World 2003, Rosanna Davison.

As has only very recently been suggested by a respected historian, Robin Hood is thought to have been a key target of King John, his son King Henry III, and their powerful justiciar (law-maker) Hubert de Burgh - who, almost incredibly, is an ancestor of Chris himself.
Given the inconsistencies concerning the dates in which Robin Hood is thought to have lived, Chris tells his version of the legend as if it were many years after Robin's death - and in the setting of a candle-lit tavern where a small audience has gathered to hear it conveyed by a StoryTeller and enacted by his musicians, actors, and singers.
-snip-
Article in The Independent about that ancestor of Chris's and the outlaw who may have inspired the legend of Robin Hood: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/robin-hood-beheaded-nottingham-robert-wetherby-b1763946.html
Btw, I found it particularly interesting that he did a concept album based on his involvement in a stage play. The same was true for the German band Die Toten Hosen -- see reply 16 above -- but in that case the concept album they did was fairly early in their career and that song became their first real hit.
