He does a sort of downward dog yoga move before each leap. 😂

(2,809 posts)I had a dream one night I woke up just bawling my eyes out. I dreamed I was somewhere grassy where all my life's animals attacked, mauled and bathed me all over my face with wet kisses. Tammy Faye, (my Siamese with running mascara) watched from a high perch. I woke up with Tiago sitting aside me in my bed, panting in my face and consoling me with his nearness. (Tiago, short for Santiago is my current Husky mix companion who rescued me from the shelter after he'd wandered California's fire zones extensively) It was then I realized I've had rather a lot of animals in my lifetime, usually one at a lifetime. It's such a joy to bring them home, such a trauma at the end of their short lives.
I miss every one that's gone, dearly miss my furry companion when I'm off at work (right now) but, Tiago, going on 3 years old will be able to live out his upper years as a retirement companion!
