(41,829 posts)i hated when that shit came out, because it really was bad , all those shows but AS SOMEONE said, people in NEW YORK knew who Donald Trump was, so I am surprised it even got any views from New Yorkers. But no, I never ever watched it because back then I was probably busting my ass at work and was listening to my music...ugh! no!!

(10,428 posts)I also thought "reality" tv was stupid and bullshit.
Turns out, it was always scripted, not "reality", and just a cheap way for networks to produce shows.
This, "teen mom", "pimple popper", "honey booboo", "schmuck dynasty" and the rest really are nothing more than examples of how stupid the general public is. You can't blame networks for offering such garbage when there really is a huge audience for it.

(1,962 posts)Reality TV makes me break out in hives, vomit, and all sorts of other unpleasant effects. I've never been able to stand it. Fuck Duck Dy-nasty, put the next season of Survivor in Hell where it belongs, and even seeing promos for The Bachelor(ette) while watching game shows makes my stomach turn.
I've said here earlier this summer that that particular reality show is the worst TV series in history. I wish I could find the post again, but I went on to say how it convinced millions of people that Baron von Fatfuck was a "STRONG MAN!", a "smart bidnessman" and all of that crap. It helped reinvent his image from a pathetic bankrupt joke to a "leader", and without it, he never would've been "elected" in 2016.
We're in this mess today in large part thanks to NBC and Mark Burnett... Thanks, fuckos.
I honestly thought the show sounded pathetic and stupid from the promos. I had no desire to watch it even back then... And no way I'd watch it today, considering how the site of that "man's" face makes me want to punch my screen.
