Double dose today.

Got the latest Covid booster AND my flu shot (senior version) today. Other than a little minor soreness in my right arm (where the flu shot was given) I feel fine.

I'm crossing my fingers. I skipped the second booster to hold out for a bivalent booster. Just hoping not to get COVID before I can get the booster here.Small towns are a little behind on getting the new booster, I think.

and pharmacies started taking appointments for Thursday morning. I discovered that late Wedneday night and took the first appointment for Thursday morning. Got the shot at 10:30 am.

I was fine until about 11:00 pm. That's when the mild tendernes in my arm got more painful and spread to my shoulder. Soon afterward my temp went up one degree and I got nauseous. The left arm is so sore that I hope I don't roll over on it in my sleep. If I get to sleep. No fatigue....yet.

Currently drinking tea to make my stomach feel better. Can't go to bed yet because I have some meatballs cooking in sauce. They smell good, but when I get near them, I get nauseous all over again. It's like being pregnant.

Sorry to hear about the side effects. They hit me hard too, so I've been hesitating. The second Pfizer shot had me running a fever and with a headache for four days. So I did a Moderna booster. Hoping this is different enough that it won't put me down too long.

My doctor recommended the Covid booster because I have some potential vulnerabilities. Will get that done also.

Very sore arm, really tired all day, slight fever, but now I'm starting to feel better and my arm isn't as sore. Should be fine by tomorrow.

They told me I had to wait until October (6 months) to get the latest one. I did get the double dise old folks flu shot today though.
