Does having a simple beer with lunch count as day-drinking?

But I’m in a pub in Puyallup, Washington, where they’d give you a funny look and tell you “We ain’t got none of that fancy stuff here. Beer okay?”

And my husband just walked over to Terry's bar for "lunch". He says their chili is pretty good. Beer will wash down a bowl just perfectly!

but it's too hot again today. I can't drink beer if it's too hot. That's ice tea weather. Friday evening may bring out the beer for me.

I don't ever drink in the daytime, as I get sleepy after two or three.
