I lost my 11 week old male kitten yesterday.

The events were shocking. I got a brother and sister kitten pair from a feral mother about 4 days ago. The lady steered us toward those two.

So yesterday at the SPCA to get the kittens ready for a long life, the vet's assistant comes out with a big grin on her face. She said, "Congratulations, it's a girl!" Nobody, including the cat lady, even bothered to check. All is fine now except we have to switch names.

the restaurant he worked at, 15 years ago. He and his wife named it Annie for orphan Annie. I set a vet appointment to have her spayed and the vet discovered it was a make. So Annie became Andy and he now lives with me.

Our male cat, “Sparkle” and out female cat, “Sarge” don’t understand-why change names?

Then was shocked to find out the gender reveal. So new naming was implored. New powerful female name was given. Hint: She controls the tides,

I was expecting to be sad.

I recall sexing my adopted barn cat's kittens (we kept them all) I was about 15? or so? So not really that experienced, and it was at least 10 years before the internet became a useful thing.

There was a neutered cat that my parents thought was a female.... a stray they fed for years.

LOL

The 2 females adapted quickly and were adopted in no time. That third one was very skittish!

We named it Elliot Ness because "Untouchable"

Cat was returned to us as a spayed female. SO we changed her name to Ellie.

She is still untouchable, but she is madly in love with our geriatric cat. He is very sweet to her.
