(14,869 posts)One of my earlier memories at 3 years? is being on our family's summer vacation re-tyiing one of my sneakers bc it'd came loose. But for a few seconds I couldn't remember!
Then I did; picking up the rythyns of the motions. 👍

Btw, I'm a lefty!
You kind of got a taste (albeit at too young an age) of the confusion we lefties sometimes face.
But good you had family who could teach you!
Otoh, when I at 17, and still very left-handed I asked my right-handed mom to teach me how to knit.
By the third try ,😄 we were yelling at each other! We gave up.
I learned waaaaay later (30 yrs) when from a book with very clear drawings and text I did learn right handed!
I crochet left handed. 👍
