with such messed up body pheromones that a lot of really good perfumes smell like shit on me.

This is one of them. Poor Mr Pipi got me some one time. I might as well have bathed in Dollar Store cologne. I stunk.

My three favorites are "Poison", "White Diamonds", and "L'air du Temps"

At least I don't smell like car air freshener or someone's wet dog.

But I swear I think they reformulated it in the 70's. If it were a natural smell, I would recommend lavender because some wonderful florals can be too overpowering to a new nose.

It's nirvana.

Queen of the Night cactus blossoms. (Epiphyllum oxypetalum)

A female client came in our office last year and was wearing a perfume that was hauntingly similar. I wasn't brave enough to ask her what it was, but had I, I would have bought some just to use as air freshener around the house.

The air after a good summer rain. The ocean, sheets hung out on the line to dry. Lilacs. Oh my goodness, too many to choose from and I mostly take them for granted, shame on me! Oh I know! A pizza fresh out of the oven because not only would they be smelling it for the first time it would actually taste like something too!

Damp soil, freshly cut wood, a new paperback book, leather, lilacs, roses, honeysuckle (I have tons of it in my yard), Christmas tree, bayberry candles, apple pie baking, Stetson mixed with real patchouli oil (explanation...I had a boyfriend years ago who mixed them...it drove the women crazy).

Oh, wait -- that second one is only for a lesbian who is in lust with the woman who's wearing it.

Oranges. Definitely oranges.

lilacs, bacon, fresh bread, cookies baking, the mountains.

there's this little white flower i first encountered on the boutonniere i got my boyfriend for prom. it's the most wonderful fragrance i've ever come across, i had them all over in my wedding. it's an orchid, i think, but i can't remember for the life of me what they're called and google is no help.
