Wish it could be further confirmed. If true, this is a VERY SAD ending for this 'young' (only 50!) man with a 4-year old daughter and wife. They must be devastated.

I figure though, that they need time to collect themselves before making any statements on social media or elsewhere. Totally understandable. That takes all precedence over my desire to get a confirmation, so just waiting patiently and wishing for the best for them in this terrible circumstance - and hoping that it is somehow NOT true (as I'm certain they are as well).

I marched with him and other DU’ers October 26, 2002 to protest the Iraq War.
Indirectly he’s how I came to DU.

other than a couple of Facebook posts from third-hand sources. If it does turn out to be true, that's very sad; he was (is) a talented writer and advocate for progressive ideas. Still waiting for verification, though.

I've been friends with Will since the beginning of DU and Continue to on Facebook.
He had a weird post up a couple days ago that I couldn't understand it's meaning so I need to go back and read it. It actually sounded like an Obituary

Very strange if true.
