Whew! Had to put out a lot of fires today, figuratively speaking.

Busy day in clinic. Fridays, everybody wants their aches and pains evaluated before the weekend.

There's a drink (or three) with my name on them waiting for me at Chez Aristus.

Got a brand new bottle of rye whiskey distilled by a local company that also makes the best bourbon I've ever had. Looking forward to cracking it and giving it a try.

And, as always, a little vodka to get the party started.

It's finally starting to cool off here. I can finally ditch the shorts and tee shirt, and start relaxing in bathrobe and pajamas, like a civilized man.

4. I'm out of their bourbon. I'll get a new bottle once I've finished the rye.

I'm thinking of having a New York Sour - rye whisky, lemon juice, and a splash of red wine.

The red wine says 'sophistication'.

The rye says "I will cut you, bro!"
