Penzeys has a nice giveaway right now.

This box ($25 value) is free with a $5 purchase. I stocked up on a few spices I use regularly. (I'm not affiliated with them except as a fan of their spices and their politics.)

Did an order not too long ago for my favorite cinnamons. Their Chili 9000 and French thyme are must haves in my house.

7. There was a little blue circle with the word "offers" that I clicked on.

Good luck!

Edit: I just went to their home page and the circle is now purple. Maybe it always was. 🤪. It says to use the coupon code GOOD.

Mixing their products with a dose of unsolicited political opinion is bush league. Doesn't matter that we share the opinions. I gained quite a few customers from Penzeys who found the political flyers inserted into shipped orders to be inappropriate.

20. Yeah, no kidding. Still a short-sighted business model

Backed up by basic products. Nothing special about Penzey's for folks who appreciate the good stuff made by boutique blenders.

14. Sounds like you're a competitor of Penzeys.

I love Bill Penzey's enthusiasm for liberal politics. Such a rare treasure, combining capitalism with compassion! I like to give Penzeys to my Rethug relatives. Some of them know what I'm saying. 😉

19. Nope. We don't consider them our competition ...

... any more than we would Tastefully Simple or McCormick's. They're just another large manufacturer peddling factory-made stuff. We keep the products separate from the political views. That's just how we roll. And our customers prefer it that way. Yeah, and everyone's money is green. Stupid to alienate customers.

But I can't look at those recipe cards and NOT see Monopoly deeds.

I'm not complaining, mind you. I just find that highly amusing.
