(21,958 posts)and it was nasty! I couldn't really watch it to be honest. I think it was the low-budget quality of it, combined with some admittedly impressive practical special effects, that gave it a horrible sort of snuff film quality.
It's been getting a ton of word of mouth with these stories about people passing out in the theater. Of course, that kind of marketing has been around since at least the 1960s (and probably longer ago than that):
But yeah, the clip was gross. If you're not into slasher flicks I highly recommend avoiding this one!

(21,771 posts)It started out scary, built a nice, spooky atmosphere, but then took a hard turn into torture-porn and sexual mutilation.
Anyone who watched the first one can guess the exact scene I turned it off at.

(6,084 posts)skip it. I do like scary movies, but movies like that are just disgusting. I made the mistake of renting Hostel when it came out and had to spend the majority of the movie hiding under a blanket. That was the last movie like that I watched.

Cut to a scene in front of a cinema with the words "it will fuck you up for life" on the marquee, and outrageous prices at the box office...to which the clerk remarked, "if you wanna be fucked up for life, that's what it costs."
