Office Depot jacked up their print price on me

Office Depot advertised 40% off printing on orders of $150 or more. The online price is 55 cents per copy. When I completed my order they jacked up the price to 74 cents per copy. I was so mad. I complained to the store manager who said, "The prices are higher here because it's a certain class of clientele". I was so mad. I was livid. I showed them the online price. The store has never charged more than the online price before. But now that they have 40% off, guess what??? He just said, "Well we have a different class of people in the store"....

I got him to bring the price down, but I felt violated...

4. You can't always assume that the in store and on line prices are the same

Ink cartridges for example cost more if you walk in and buy them compared to ordering on line and picking up in the store.

5. Toner is the same price. I can see a few cents difference, but this was a huge difference.

Especially with large print jobs, it adds up and they didn't tell me the price until after they rang it up. They also never showed me the math. They just rang it up. I walked out of the store and did my math in the car and went back in.

Looks like you upload the document, pay online and then pick up the copies.

I had inquired about it a week ago. I went in and and asked, "Do all copy services qualify for the 40% discount?" Their response, "Yes"..What they didn't tell me: They jacked up the price by 25%.
