19 years, 20,000 posts.
If, anyone told me when I made my 1st post on 11/2/2003, I would still be posting and reading Democratic Underground 19 years later, I would have chuckled and said, "I don't think so".
But here I am reading DU; the 1st thing I do each morning with my cup of coffee.
I'm not as prolific, profound or inciteful as many DU'ers; you've kept me informed and educated on so many topics. We've also shared the sad times as well.
Thank you for your support, wisdom, chuckles and even a bit of criticism when needed.
Would have been fun if I hit 20,000 posts at 20 years, but I'll celebrate 19 years with 20,000 posts and will celebrate 20 years next November.

At the rate you're going, you'll be at 20,000 long before I reached it. Keep on keeping on. While DU has a strong line up of seasoned posters, its long term viability is in our newer and/or younger members. 
At 17,562 posts in only 4 years, you'll probably be at 50,000 or more posts, when you hit 20 years.

Nov 10 is my 19 year anniversary on DU. Somewhere, some DUer is wondering why my H1B visa hasn't expired yet. 
You're one of the DUer's I spoke of who has contributed so much. Same amount of time, double the posts. Congrats on your 19 years!
Not sure I'll make it to 20,000 more not if it takes me another 19 years!
