(38,213 posts)"I Ran (So Far Away)",[2] also released as "I Ran", is a song by English new wave band A Flock of Seagulls. It was released in 1982 as their third single and it was the second single from their self-titled debut album. It topped the chart in Australia, and reached number seven in New Zealand and number nine in the United States, although it failed to make the top 40 in the band's home country (United Kingdom). However, the song was certified silver by the BPI.

I did, too. It didn't help. I did the math, and I think I was in a social blackout at the time. lol

(29,731 posts)That's the one I don't get.
But the rest of the collection is stellar!!
The chorus lyrics to the song Black Betty is:
Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-lam)
Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-lam)
Which sounds like panda lamp.

(22,582 posts)I could also use some help with "how far he ran." I'm guessing it's also a song lyric reference, but not one I recognize.

(184 posts)Although they are usually a Bay with frequently white lower legs. Same breed of draft horse as the budweiser horses.
In the last twenty years or so, the breed standard seems to have opened up to allow "spotted" horses in.
