I knew we'd have a dramatic change, and we sure did. And seems worse because the temps here have been in the 60s to high 70s for the last 10 days. I'm in s.e. Oh. Even here, looking at a high in the low 40s today.

in NC. It was 80 yesterday and freezing overnight temps are coming, along with more rain. Maybe some snow flurries later in the week!

so the birds can use it during the winter. This summer the birds seemed to prefer drinking from the fountain. I wonder if the wet concrete wasn't much cooler on their feet!

Metal might get hot quicker and stay hot longer. Depends on if the bowl is in direct sun. I try to keep everything under the bushes, so I think they stay cool.
