Northern Oh-it's snowing.

1. Just a sputter or two in the Twin Cities suburbs...

But it is cold though as the winds are coming down from the northwest.

2. It's November and it's snowing in the North? Whatever would we do without FB and Twitter??

3. It was in the 60's yesterday

I knew we'd have a dramatic change, and we sure did. And seems worse because the temps here have been in the 60s to high 70s for the last 10 days. I'm in s.e. Oh. Even here, looking at a high in the low 40s today.

4. I saw some light snow in Columbus at the OSU game on TV.

I was ready for cooler temps, not quite ready for snow.

7. I drained and covered my fountain today

in NC. It was 80 yesterday and freezing overnight temps are coming, along with more rain. Maybe some snow flurries later in the week!

8. Quite a change!

I turned my concrete bird baths over last month, using plastic for the winter.

9. My bird bath is metal

so the birds can use it during the winter. This summer the birds seemed to prefer drinking from the fountain. I wonder if the wet concrete wasn't much cooler on their feet!

10. It could be.

Metal might get hot quicker and stay hot longer. Depends on if the bowl is in direct sun. I try to keep everything under the bushes, so I think they stay cool.
