When someone you don't like dies...

Never send to know for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee, I tell myself.

A high school classmate who never gave me the time of day, either back then or at reunions, has died. At the 55th reunion, my husband and I sat at his table, and I tried to make conversation. Might as well have talked to the centerpiece. I noticed he wasn't at the 60th this July. I was a little disappointed, because I wanted to try again to talk to him.

I think what bothered me was that he didn't like me, not that I didn't like him. Now he's gone. That bell is practicing for me, and all of us, but we're still here today.

Enjoy every moment you can.

No job.
No car.
No money.
No friends.
Crabby parents.

Just saying...
I lucked out. I had great friends.

But what an ass of a man. He was harmful to people in this state for the sake of a dollar. I guess money can't save you from death. Good riddance!
