(4,220 posts)Just came across it. Excellent episode about nominating a Supreme Court justice. Lots of idealism and hope, all the things I loved about that show. Marathon lasts through Sun. Guess I have my weekend planned.

(28,271 posts)It's even better than my fond memories indicated. Blessings on Aaron Sorkin, the world-class cast, and all others involved. Talk about a series we all need to see, one more time!

(131,077 posts)I watched a few episodes last night too, but cd player I use to watch seems to be fading, so may have to wait to replace it. YES one more time!

(28,271 posts)It's "Noel," set at Christmas time in the White House, featuring Josh coming apart at the seams with a raging case of PTSD after living through an assassination attempt. The show is damn near stolen by Adam Arkin as the psychiatrist who puts Josh back on the road to recovery; turns out the holiday music at the White House (brass quintet, bag pipes) reminds Josh of the ambulance sirens, making him live through the shootings, over and over. Genuine goose-bump stuff.
