(102,141 posts)1. I can't say I'm a religious person, but my childhood comes back when I see
an animal dead by the side of the road. That "sign of the cross" gesture is reflexive. But even without, I do hope there is some kinder realm for all to go to.
Animals know, btw. My dog gets VERY upset when we pass a dead rabbit, squirrel or other.
