Vanity is a big one too. And ashamed of being seen as weak or needy. We are a pretty warped species. Good post.

I was once tasked with boiling my essence down to a single word. I chose Truth. With perfect truth the rule, there would be no racism, wars, poverty, etc., etc.
And if people would learn to see with their hearts, the world would be a much better place!
