How do I delete the titter app off my ipad?

I thought I had deleted it yesterday and then I accidentally touched a Twitter post here and it opened up again I went into the app area and there doesn’t seem to be any way to really get it permanently off of my iPad.

Touch your screen and hold, not on an icon just the screen until all the apps begin to jiggle PortTack Nov 2022 #2

just a thought.

To delete an app, tap and hold on the app. A popup will have the option to delete entirely.

Some reason I did not see that option and it didn’t work, but I went into general in settings went to manage storage and I was able to delete it permanently that way. Hopefully it worked this time thanks 😀 It was definitely not Safari I don’t even know how I got the app on my iPad somehow at some point to tricked me into using the app. I almost never use apps for things like that that I can use at a website. Because they’re very annoying.

They will get a dash or minus on them. Then just touch the app you want to delete. When finished press the home button and that will stop the apps from jiggling..all,done

It only removed it from the home screen. However I just read online how to do it, you just go to settings-general, go into storage, go to the app you want to remove, and then you can permanently delete it…let’s hope it worked this time.
