(76,695 posts)I feel that way too. There are artists at the top of my list, but they're so different that ranking them is impossible for me.
I'm the same way with my favorite guitarists. I have a #1, then 2a through 2h.

(2,263 posts)I've been a Pink Floyd Fanatic for 48 years since I was 15 years old. I really dont think they would have been as commercially popular if Syd had remained in the group with Roger Waters and him as Co-Creators and Co-Writers. If also Rogers Ego would have allowed Syd to flourish and contribute anything at all to their music. Instead of David Gilmour who is a musical genius in his own right had never been brought in to replace him. But I've always had a sentimental soft spot for Syd on what could he have been if he didn't have drug and mental problems. I was just wondering what people think of Syd Barrett and believe if anyone agrees that he had some talent and had a little bit of genius in him if for only 3 or 4 years.
