When I was there, it was The Boys Industrial School.

And I said, "littering." And they ALL MOVED AWAY from me on the bench there. Until I said, "and creating a nuisance." Then they all came back and we was talking about father rapin', mother stabin', and all kind of groovy stuff. We was smokin' cigarettes and all KINDS of things until the sergeant walked in. Had a stack of papers in his hand..."

5. The reform school in

Torrington, Wyoming was once an orphanage named Saint Joseph's Orphanage. Though now a reformatory, it is still called Saint Joseph's Orphanage, and the large statue on the beautiful front lawn depicting Saint Joseph and two children is still there.

6. There were beautiful grounds around BIS as well. That's because we (inmates) maintained them.
