Has anyone used Frameo?

My mom got an uploadable picture frame for Christmas. They wanted me to send pics. I had to download the app and they gave me a code. But then Frameo wanted all my credit card information.

Is this normal? They say it's for verifying location?? Is it just so that you don't get people uploading porn to Grandma's picture frame?

That was a few years ago. Works great, but didn't have to supply any cc info. I don't know if they changed their policies on monitizing, but you shouldn't have to pay to upload pics to the device you purchased.

Not sure exactly how it connects, now that I think about it. It's not via email or text. It goes directly to the frameo on my wifi when I grab a pic and it sends it to the app.
