I have to get one of those drive up Covid tests tomorrow

because I'm having a procedure done in the hospital on Monday. I guess they have some kind of algorithm that tells them what day of the week you have to get the test done depending on your procedure day. In other words, it's not always 4 days before the procedure, etc.

I'm assuming this will be a PCR test (not sure if I have those initials correct).

Does anyone know how long it takes to get those results?

I'm assuming that it would not be just a few minutes like a home test?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

I have had a couple of the drive up tests. The first was completed the same afternoon. The second took two days due to the amount of tests the facility had to complete.

Good luck!
