The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsSo my MRI came back.
Showing no prostate Cancer after all.
I still will have a Biopsy but you could say I have a second chance.
It's been a sleepless week for sure.
Next week I get to travel to GA to see my 2 Grandsons.
Joy.

(77,237 posts)Fortunately, my levels are so low my doc doesn't even see a need for a prostate check during my annual visit.
I'm pretty lucky in that regard.
Glad to hear your positive news.

(5,478 posts)Be sure to get an exam every 6 months for a while to be sure. My brother's blood test had numbers that were high but his doctor could not find anything on examination. He went back 6 months later and his numbers were even higher. He told the doctor he wanted his prostate removed. By shaving it they found a pin point size that had just started. That was over 20 years ago and he is just fine.
