Yay! My cold seems to be winding down. Finally!

Covid test #4 is in the tube. Got 3 min left till results.
Just checking again to be absolutely sure.

Gotta say, I am really tired of shoving giant qtips up my nose and the sneezing fit that follows.

Update: Test Negative

This test was neg also. Yay!

I’ve had a nasty cold(?) for over a week and I never get sick. Or, if I do, my body fights it off within a day or two.

Nasal congestion (mostly swelling), coughing, sneezing the first few days but that went away, mild fever that came and went, headache, sore throat that came and went, thick, dark phlegm coughed up from my lungs but nose mucus has been clear.

I was worried it was pneumonia or bronchitis or something more serious. Doc can’t fit me in until this coming Tuesday, so I’ve been isolating and taking nsaids and a decongestant, and drinking a ton of hot tea and water. Time seems to have done the trick. Hope I didn’t just jinx myself

The weirdest thing is I have been ravenously hungry.

And am feeling better, just tired. Now my whole family is infected. I ran a 102f fever the first two days and felt awful. I let the fever run until it reached 102f then took Tylenol to feel better.

The tiredness can last for several weeks after you finish the Paxlovid. I had COVID at Christmas and I still struggle with the fatigue. I sleep a lot. Fortunately, I'm retired and not on a schedule.

That sounds worse than what I’ve had … mostly sneezing and head congestion and feeling a bit tired . No cough or fever , but I do sneeze dozens of times a day and usually 5-6 times in a row, then blowing my schnoz off .

Glad you’re neg, good luck at Dr
