I've seen him leave his bowl of cat food if he hears the crackly sound of the bag the arugula comes in.

Years later, same cat . . . what do you call this? It's stale, fresh stuff out of a can please! And chicken, the cooked type, barbecue style, with skin on, where is it? Haven't had any for weeks!
I threaten to put the yesterday food out for the birds. Cat says . . . Don't care!
Gets in my face when he needs feeding. Many times a day.
Cats are just uppity people. Simple!
But vegetables, nah, not interested!
