Semi-Truck Crashes After Refusing to Let Cars Pass

I'm not one to wish people ill, but I hope that truck driver got thrown in jail and got a nasty bump on the head to boot. What a psycho. I'm dating myself but it reminds me of Steven Spielberg's first big commercial movie, "Duel." That movie scared the crap out of me when I watched it on TV as a teenager.

Occurred on December 22, 2022 / San José Iturbide, Mexico

"On Highway 57, in the section of Qro - San Luis Potosí, in the direction of SLP, a driver of a trailer appeared to be under the influence of something as they were fighting to keep other cars from passing. Later, a car tried to overtake from the right, so the driver turned sharply and overturned."

Wondering if he was dealing with some sort of mechanical issue and was trying to protect the other drivers? Perhaps a braking or acceleration problem where he didn't want anyone to pull in front of him, as a passing driver would do.

He was also going really slow, so anyone who passed him would be gone quickly. I think the guy was just a jerk.

I was driving on the New York State Thruway once in an 18-wheeler when I came upon a trucker doing 50 mph. When I tried to pass him he made the same offensive maneuvers this Mexican driver did. So I'm tucked in behind the jerk about an eighth of a mile back when another trucker attempted to pass the guy - only to receive the same treatment. Only thing I could come up with was he was a Republican who couldn't stand anyone to do better than him.

My friend and I used to be two young women who traveled together. Many a night we would sleep a couple hours at a truck stop.
We would ask to park between two semis while we slept. They were always polite. And always made us feel safe.

Can you imagine ???

That was obviously deliberate.
