(82,380 posts)We got so agitated my mother had to calm us down.
Then dad said no more Twilight Zone.
That upset us even more.
My mother relented and we watched it next week.

(24,906 posts)Unique even for the Twilight Zone in several ways. It was not written by Rod Serling and it has no dialogue.

(17,911 posts)and his family came to New Orleans to be with him while he passed. He has these hideous masks made for them to wear, and he tells them all off before he dies. I won't spoil the ending, but if you see the series available on Prime or Hulu or somewhere, check it out.

(12,094 posts)James Best was Jeff Myrtlebank, a man who died (maybe) and who came back to life. His neighbors in the backwoods thought him a haint.
It opens with his funeral. Suddenly the casket starts to open and a hand came out. I was seven, alone in the living room, and I swear to God I levitated before exiting stage left.

(82,380 posts)It freaked me out but also taught me a big lesson.
An elderly woman, poor, living by herself in a remote cabin is being tormented by a small
entity of some sort. Looks like a little man from space. It is making her crazy stalking her all
over the cabin. The ending hit home, and taught me that many times things are not what
we think they are.

(82,380 posts)We knew exactly what we were looking at when we saw the marking on the spaceship.
The whole show you feel sorry the elderly woman, and hate the tormentor.
Then your world turns over in a second at the end.
