But I have a wood stove that runs full-time....I will be firing up my basement woodstove this PM....that helps to keep the furnace from tripping on.....and adds additional floor heat on the 1st floor.

My house is old; the insulation isn't the greatest and my heating bills this winter have been horrific. So the last thing I'm going to do is turn the heat up more when it gets colder - I just wear more clothes. The wind chill factor doesn't mean anything unless you're outside with exposed skin; houses and other inanimate objects are not affected by wind chill.

So far it has not made my apartment chilly, but I've got a door blocker laid across the bottom of one window where drafts sometimes come in. I also have my outdoor wall A/C unit blocked off with a plastic cover and a large, heavy wool sweater draped over it.

And naturally, I wear warmer clothing indoors, too.

I need to go outdoors later and am planning what to wear. Probably fleece leggings under a pair of sweat pants, a warm shirt under a sweatshirt, my warmest coat with a fake fur lined hood and a hat under the hood. I have a pair of thick, heavy wool mittens that I use for temps like this. I always wear an N95 mask when indoors away from home so I'll just wear it outdoors, too.
