California does not tax lottery winning either. You just have to pay the Feds but not both like most

Since her education is paid for, shell have a great start to live a very comfortable life. Maybe travel. Take care of her family. Hope she does well

I congratulate the fortunate winner on escaping being harassed here for not paying her fair share!
