It took 21 years for my Saturn to reach that first BIG milestone

I also love my Saturn and I was really disappointed when they stopped making them.

3. I have one, too!

And it's at 78,000 miles! Driven by a little old lady before I got it (my aunt).

5. I miss my Saturn so much

2001 SL1. Blue and beautiful. I was forced to give her up at end of 2020 by my apartment complex because I couldn't afford very minor repairs (new battery, new shoes) and inspection. She would have lasted me another 20 years. Those cars were built different, especially the ones prior to the GMC takeover.

6. My family had a Saturn for over 10 years

Bought it used (1997 coupe) for my daughters first car. She drove it 6 years including 3 years of commuting to college 45 minutes each way. When she was expecting her oldest it was obvious that particular car is NOT car seat-friendly so she swapped it with my 2001 Corolla and I drove it another 5 years. Finally in 2014 it developed a transmission problem (didn’t want to go into reverse), we figured we got our $$ worth and it went to junkyard heaven at 175k miles. Great car and fun to drive.

It's still a baby for a Saturn. They run forever!!!

My '05 civic now has 280k & purrs like a kitten!

8. We still have a 1998 Saturn SL 1. Actually, we gave it to our grand daughter,

but she really isn’t interested in driving — much of anything. We still carry it on our insurance (liability only), but I’d like to donate it. Unfortunately, we can’t find the title.

9. A couple of years ago we bought our daughter a 2011 Escape Limited. . .

. . .with 23000 km on the clicker. It was owned by a little old lady who literally drove it to church on Sundays.
