I'm watching Antiques Road Show... (in Santa Fe)

A young girl brought in 2 Nintendo games ....

Both were second printings

Double Dragon (1988) estimate was $2-3,000
Super Mario Bros. 3 (1990) estimate was $1-2,000

The expert said the collectible video game market exploded in 2019-2020.

Expert said a first printing of Super Mario Bros recently went for $150,000

So, video games are now being evaluated on the... Antiques Road Show. 😄

You never know what you’ll see.

“I always liked this picture so my aunt left it to me. She knew the painter back in 1935. Is it worth anything?” (Mumble mumble cogitate) “Well, ma’am, what you have here is an early Hickenlooper, and if you have it professionally cleaned it will be worth in the neighborhood of $150,000 at auction.” Owner: “Jesus Christ!”

I love it.
