Sounds very bucolic. I'm guessing light breezes ruffling the leaves in the trees play a large part in that?

forest bathing.

In Basic Training in the Army. Our first day of field training (you know, the stuff they show in the movies, setting up tents in the woods, crawling under barbed wire with machine gun fire going overhead, etc.). It picked that day to rain relentlessly all morning, during which time, we scraped and wriggled and crawled through freezing-cold mud; sheer misery.

We ate lunch sitting around in our cold, wet, muddy field gear, then trudged back to the bivouac site to dry off and change clothes. About that time, the rain stopped and the sun came out. We all stripped down to underwear or less and basked in the warm rays. Getting warm, dry, and re-dressed in clean uniforms felt like being re-born. I've never felt anything else quite like it since.

I don't miss military service in the least. But I'm happy I had the experience.

Went out this morning, was happy that I didn't have to scrape the car windows, although the driver side windows were frozen for a while.

I started the booth in August, jokingly saying it is a birthday present to myself. My husband and I collected joyfully and with great abandon for over 40 years. Time to downsize. I enjoy the booth. I tell people it's storage with benefits

I'm home for the day, planning to work on adding things to my inventory, which means using a db, making tags, and making sure the things are clean and undamaged. Believe it or not, I love this kind of work.

Happy Saturday!
