What is your favorite flower? Mine is the yellow rose. We planted sunflowers last year but the lack

of sunlight was not very good for them. We will look for a sunnier part of the yard this year. So, what is your favorite flower to plant or receive? '''The beautiful colors, the scent, the birds and insects they attract. They show the beauty in a world that can be quite nasty and cruel.

Also, garden roses that actually have a scent are a bonus.

There's a house down the street a ways that has the most fabulous smelling white lilacs. I will start looking for them soon, on my walk.
