1. Delphinium & peonies & roses,

but no red roses.


Also, garden roses that actually have a scent are a bonus.

3. Yes, Crispy, I don't like red roses either. The scent is over powerful for me. I like the subtle

scent of the yellow rose.

2. Lilacs. Their breath breezing into open windows in the spring

was one of my favorite memories growing up in New England.

4. Oh yes, my neighbor has lilac bushes along his yard. I live to walk Dolly, my dog, and smell the

scent of the lilacs.

5. I love lilac season & I have an especially beautiful and fragrant bush.

There's a house down the street a ways that has the most fabulous smelling white lilacs. I will start looking for them soon, on my walk.
