1. Now to make it permanent. It's supposedly coming back up for vote.
I can wait for the extra evening light next week!

2. Ugh.
I hate dst. It serves no purpose and never should have been introduced in the first place.

3. I appreciate the fact that sunrise doesn't happen at 4:15 am in the summer.
That's just too damn early.
But granted, moving the clocks ahead sucks every spring... |

5. I think it has a good purpose
when the sun rises earlier, why not take advantage of it and get out and get everything done earlier? Likewise, there is no earthly reason to do that before dawn when its in the single digits in January.
Its not just some random thing they cooked up to annoy people with! That said Im not averse to trying it out year round again, why not? It sucked last time we tried it, but maybe people are better copers now, there is certainly more lighting than there was back in the day. |

9. It is, for me. Limited daylight in winter makes me SAD.
I always look forward to the increased
daylight of summer. The longer the days the better. |

10. Fallacious argument, the actual number of hours of daylight is exactly the same,
they're just shifting the clock.
My choices would be: 1. Stop changing the time, stay on standard time all year. 2. Stop changing the time, if you force me to be on DST, OK I'll do it. But stop making me reset twice a year. Pick one. |

11. Not just a shifting of the clock.
There actually are more daylight hours in summer. DST just takes advantage of that so that our evenings remain light even longer according to the time on our clocks.
I love it when it is still light out when our clocks say that it's 9 pm. |

19. Great, now I get to hear my husband swearing moving the time forward......
Ugh. It’s such a job for him. Two of the clocks are automatic, and the clocks on the stove and microwave are easy to change, but there’s one clock in our living room that is on a wall that he has to move the couch and lean over our tv to change the time. I’ve never heard some of the swear words he comes up with.
