27. How do you calculate your average?

Do you include the whiffs (beyond the 6) or just average the wins?

I’m at 3.865 not counting the whiffs. And also playing expert mode but using somewhat random start words for a little more challenge.

I don't think it counts the whiffs, but I'm not sure that's even valid because you can't go more than 6 so it would be a relatively arbitrary number anyway. So, my average right now is 3.8837. I had 3 fives and a bust over the past two weeks, which hasn't helped. But until then, it had been on a reasonably slow trajectory down. I'm below the average for my state, and now I'm pushing to get to 3.7. Then I'll try to get to 3.6. But I think that may be my ceiling. Or I guess floor would be more appropriate.

31. Oh, I'm competitive as well...

...and I would love to get down in the Sweden and Switzerland range. But, I'm below the US average and well below my state, so I'm feeling pretty good. If I can just keep treating this like golf, and avoid the big numbers, I'll get there. One of my issues is I tend to guess too quickly and make silly mistakes. For example, using a letter in a guess on #3 that was already greyed out in #2.
