I loss my sense of taste on Thursday

Has anyone else experienced this? On Wednesday, I went out to lunch at a restaurant with my cousin. The next morning, I couldn't taste anything. I still can't taste anything. I can smell, but I can't taste. I took a home covid test. It was negative.

I just don't know what it could be.

It could still be Covid but your viral load is not high enough for a home test to pick it up.

Lose of taste is also associated with a zinc deficiency.

I hope you can regain your sense of taste!

I had COVID 2 years ago and lost both taste and smell. Have not regained either. Now my taste is even worse. Originally, I just couldn't taste. Now foods that I like actually taste bad. I am a cook and a foodie so this is pretty distressing.

Thank you! Considering that zinc boosts immunity, I wonder if there's a connection.

When I had COVID, I couldn't taste, but it didn't last too long. Over the next six months or so I occasionally lost my sense of taste for a short period of time.

A PCR test is more reliable. Had mine done in the parking lot at the doctor’s office. Positive after three negatives at home….take care of yourself!

That can affect your senses of smell and taste.

This is tree pollen season, and pollen allergies can also cause sinus problems.
