(8,218 posts)But I like Subway for the most part. I know it's a sodium bomb at lunchtime but it's still good. Maybe in a couple of days after that thing has receded from memory....

(26,664 posts)Apparently it was a fairly widespread fast food industry practise. And I have eaten a lot of Subway sandwiches over the years. Enough that I should be in permanent "downward dog."

(8,218 posts)Although with that much chemicals, I should be preserved for at least 100 years! I know I have some bread on top of the fridge that is several months old and there's no penicillin growing on it...yet!
