Gawd that's funny! Especially since they're all okay.

I accidentally (yes, really) scared one of my cats like that once. I was putting together a stereo and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any reception. Poor cat was lying in the sun just about asleep when I realized I had it on AUX instead of FM. I forgot i had the volume at 11 before I switched it...the cat went three feet in the air from a dead sleep, shot up the stairs to who knows where, and I didn't see him again until dinnertime. Poor Kitty...he was a good one but I took at least two of his lives that day.

they got freaked. Look at those leaps!

Hopefully they got some serious cuddling later on.

For a while there were nine cats in my household: three young adults and their six kittens. (Someday, I'll describe what would happen when I opened the refrigerator. But not today. Too traumatic.)
This sort of thing was almost a daily occurrence. Especially when a kitten would climb the 6' X 12' Shoji screen. The wee doofusses never learned not to do that.
CATS!
