Would seriously be tempted to break my diet:
Hostess chocolate cupcakes
Ding Dongs

I'd probably be tempted:
Fruit pies (apple)

No problem saying no:
Twinkies (although I might be tempted to try a bite of a fried one)
Sno balls

The rest I've never tried, but really have no interest in.

and it doesn't have to be Hostess. There are better ones. I don't eat any of the other ones. Never have, really. When I was a kid on the east coast I preferred the Tastycake brand.

Passing off a fruit pie as dessert is fraud in my book.

Once my mother made a cherry pie instead of a cake for my birthday and
I thought the world had ended. I had looked forward to having cake for months.

I just stared at the fruit pie like it was liver and onions.

A world without Oatmeal Cream pies and Starcrunch Cosmic Snack Cookies would be a dark, sad place.

Most of those I've never even tried, and those that I have was over 40 years ago. Didn't like them then, know I wouldn't like them now.

I had no idea what she was talking about but it didn't sound very nutritious.

Of course when I was young I liked a big coke and bag of popcorn for lunch.
So I suppose I cannot talk her choices.

vending room for a snack. I used to buy a fruit pie and an ice cream sandwich, eat the cookies off the ice cream sandwich, heat the fruit pie in the microwave then put the remaining ice cream on the hot fruit pie. Tasted great at about 2am trying to get the trucks loaded out. Dont touch any of them anymore.

Given that, if they’d invent Key Lime Fruit Pies I’d be all over them.
